Join us for an evening lantern tour of the Benton County Cemetery and discover the stories of those who came before us — including victims of the 1886 Cyclone and some of Benton County’s earliest settlers. Following the tour, enjoy a social hour at the BCHS Museum featuring snacks and refreshments, along with a special opportunity to see our authentic 1880s funeral coach.

Built in 1873 by Leonard Robinson and constructed of enduring granite, the BCHS museum building has served many roles in our community — from private residence to care facility — and for more than 150 years has stood as a symbol of Benton County’s history and resilience. With your support, we can preserve this landmark for future generations through the installation of a new elevator and the creation of an accessible community room for education, events, and community gatherings.

Members gather for elections, presentations, and updates on the society’s activities and future plans.

Monthly — 3rd Tuesday at 5:00pm
Board of Directors meetings held at the museum. Members and the public are always welcome.
