• 1788 New York becomes 11th state to ratify constitution

• 1908 Federal Bureau of Investigation established

Minnesota

• The morel became Minnesota’s state mushroom in 1984.

• Minnesota’s lowest point is the surface of Lake Superior at 602 feet above sea level.

Benton County

• Foley became the permanent county seat after the 1901 relocation vote.

• Another influenza outbreak hit Benton County in early 1919.
